so just wanna say thanks to all those lovely staff at La Manila for making my two months supposed-to-be-boring holidays so awesome/awful. well, there were hard times and good times. :)

thank you thank you thank you to W, who was really sweet and annoying at the same time. thanks for standing up for me today. LOL, i know it was small matter and you probably didn't notice it, but dang, it made me feel a lot better. :)

thanks darling kak lisa, kak tia, kak salimah and kak jamilah, for all your tortures and supports. i bet the new girl can't clean the oven as clean as i did. :)

firstly, i'm weird bcos i have an obsession towards lizards. i was told by my kind and loving mom that i used to feed lizards from my baby chair. cute little CYC would throw food down from her baby chair and then those cute little lizards would come and gobble it up. ;) i have always wanted a lizard for a pet since like... forever. yeah, i'm still trying to catch one. :)

on thursday i went to tokyo and had a nice lunch with takashi sorimachi before having a wonderful picnic with hello miaumiau. ( err? miaumiau?)

on friday, i had a trip to the U.S and ohmigosh i was on the same plane as obama!! and kevjumba came out of nowhere and said that he was my long-lost brother. (*faints*)

on saturday i finally came back to malaysia and started crapping craps on my blog.

ok ok, just gonna do this really post really fast, it's about things that happened for the past few days?? weeks?? before they slip out of my brains.

so, it was my.. cuzzie's (i think) wedding. she had her wedding dinner at armada hotel :) i had to go there in my freaking t-shirt and jeans cos i just came back from work.

well, the food was good? yummy baby octopuses :) hahahaha
but the ginger soup for the tang-yuen was a bit too... ginger-ish :( thumbs down
and the waiter actually spilled soya sauce on my relative's head (i don't know who the heck is she, but she's my relative) and due to the spilling, one of my cousins fell down on his butt, ouch!

as i was digging around my house for books (again), a weird magazine came bouncing out from nowhere!

haha, just joking, i found it somewhere in my book shelf and i have no idea why is it even in my house at all. it's a magazine from China (o.O) and it's called Eighteen-years-old.
and before you start thinking the wrong way, no, it's not that kind of mag. Sickos.

it's a really kinda cute mag actually, seriously very cute. and you should read the problems page, it's even cuter. haha. it's so.... i don't know how to describe it but i spent all my time reading it insted of making my christmas cards. i was kinda annoyed by that, seriously.

now, i have this freaky feeling that my whole family hates me.
and it has really really made me depressed.
so depressed that when someone did something and i wanted to say "i'm impressed", i said "i'm depressed" instead.


i kept telling myself that these things would happen to everybody at certain time of their lives somehow and i should always look at the bright side. Smiley YC!! :)








but then again, i'm like having some intense bad luck looming over me, causing me to have all the bad luck one could have in forty years in just 4 days.

haizz, nothing to do today so i listened to my mom's collection of golden oldies. Kinda grew sick of bands nowadays, it's just so annoying. can't even understand half of what they're singing. :/

so, i came across this really cute song named Don't Cry Joni, it's about this girl liking this guy but the guy don't like her. LOL. and one line was like this "you're just fifteen but i'm twenty-two, Joni i just can't wait for you" when i heard it i was like, *sigh*

yeah, i know it sounds a bit perasan but, well, it DID happen. :p

So, it all started on this fateful day when there was a lot of customers suddenly. It's really annoying cos you'd keep forgetting what the customers ordered and obviously, you'd be scolded by them. :/

it was so busy until we forgot about this very important cake. Well it was important cos the customer said that it was. LOL. Then finally, the lunch crowd left, and the electricity putus-ed suddenly. Which was actually a good thing cos we got to sit around and chitchat. But it was really hot, even the bakers came out to chat with us.

Then as i was hanging out with H at the corner table, this huge lady clad from head to toe in pink came in and started shouting at everyone. It turned out that she was the one who ordered that important cake. Omgness, she was like a gigantic strawberry Popsicle. ok ok, i know for the Chinese ppl, red is the official colour for prosperity, but you don't really have to overdo it right? talk about a fashion disaster. :/

but still, it was extremely scary, and stupid H pretended nothing happened and continued playing with his phone. i was rooted to the chair. She kept scolding and said some crap about having to rush to the Pavilion and traffic jam and complaining to the boss etc etc. i didn't dare to go behind the counter cos it was freaking scary. -__-

so finally i did get to go behind the counter. :) and that garang lady actually talked to me.

YC: yeah...
GL: help me check if they got the spelling correct.
YC: ok.... yeah they got the spelling correct.
GL: haiyoh, these ppl here ah, i already told them i'm coming at 4 o'clock and now i have to wait. i need to rush to the Pavilion la, it's so jam! at 4 or 5 o'clock it'll be very jam there wan.
YC: (keeps nodding her head) yeah yeah, especially the Pavilion just opened, so a lot of ppl will go.
GL: yea la!
YC: (using her good girl voice) haizz, auntie just now seriously very busy la, so i guess they forgot about it, i'm new staff so i don't know anything about this. sorry lo auntie. don't blame them la, seriously very busy just now... (bla bla, all the crappy "pai ma pi" stuff)
GL: (calmed down a bit already) hmm, how much is it, i want to pay now.

then in the end she did not complain to the boss and i offered to help her take the cake to her car. And she kept thanking me for it.
Phew, thank goodness i was there for her to vent her anger, if not, kak L will be in so much trouble. @___@

everyone looked at me with this weird face after that incident. Even W said," wow, she very sayang you oh?" LOL. oh crap man, she's definitely the scariest customer i've ever seen. :p
